Interactive music experience: Blue

This piece of post rock music of Akira Kosemura is instrumental without any vocal. It focuses on creating a sort of atmosphere. The complicated feelings it brings about is called “Blue” by Akira. The interactive music experience which shares the same name seeks to visualize the emotional part of the music, through inviting the audience into the “blue ocean”. The light shining through the water, the group of fish swimming by, or the ambient sound of bubbles rising up…all these elements together create a beautiful wonder land of freedom.

Piece of music: Rhythm–Candy

The Zheng music of “conquer the typhoon” features jumping notes and fast rhythmic pattern. Depicting the scene of people fighting in the typhoon, the music does a great job adding to the urgency of the situation and the high-spirited atmosphere with strong musical tones. The music also uses the special tone of the Zheng instrument to imitate the sound of typhoon in some parts.
