Evolution of Image-Based VR

GOAL 

Share some insights about how a big challenge like image-based VR takes years of development, how the challenges evolve, and how some people stick it out and others move on to related challenges

Computation 

At present our computational ability has grown exponentially over the last decade. This has afforded VR developers more freedom in created more immersive environments. 

Adoption

Christopher Mims write about the lackluster evolution of VR in 2010. Mims mentions that the primary reason VR has not already been adopted by the general public was ‘lag’ according to MIT Media Lab founder, Nicholas Negroponte.
