Week 6: Rephotography

These are the works I found to be the most interesting! I particularly liked images that show drastic changes over time or moments that space is now utilized for a different purpose.

1.) Michael MartenSea Change 

Martin’s work showcases changes in environmental impacts over time with a focus on beaches and seashores.

2.) Mark Klett and Byron Wolfe The Grand Canyon 

Utilizes a mixture of photographs, postcards, and art to recreate spaces.

3.) Robert Cohen –  Holy Family Catholic Church 

Documents the change between the church from a place of worship to the new location of a marketing/ad agency.
