On rainy days, I find that it can become troublesome dragging around my umbrella. I usually use the hook on the handle to hang it up somewhere around me. On the train I use the handles and in school I use the backs of chairs.
When I am walking in the street I like to hook my right earphone over the cleft of my right ear. This allows me to vaguely hear the music playing while also being able to hear everything around me. By doing this I am able to stay aware of my surrounding while also enjoying music.
An issue I often have is being unable to find hair ties in the morning. I usually keep them inside my makeup bag where I have to waste time rummaging around looking for one. In order to solve this problem I started to hang my rubber bands on the pencils sitting in my pencil holder on top of my desk. This makes them easy to grab and gives me a good view of how many I still have.
