Selfie-Portrait
Concept
Style transfer selfies to the style of an existing self-portrait piece which has the most similar facial expression.
Inspiration
Different artists tend to have different takes on their self-portraits in at different time period. For example, Picasso uses a variety of styles to portrait himself. It would be interesting to apply these styles to selfie photos.
Toolkit
PoseNet, KNN Clasifier and Style Transfer will be used to implement the project. The project will be implemented as an web app for easy access.
Goal
The project is aimed at educational use cases where students can relate to artworks and art history via the interesting interaction. Related resources such as images, literature and reference links will be provided based on the result of the interaction.
