Proposal 1: Always Crossing the Heart
It’s just for fun. After I saw the game my peers made at midterm, which was to hold and move a pen with a ring at its end carefully along a winding path of metal not to contact it to win. I will adapt the controlling part onto computer processing. Player draw on processing to control the servo arm to move around the path, intermediated by arduino.
Proposal 2: Harmonic Circle
It’s intended for players and music learners. After I got the idea that an interactive piece will be better if it’s making a tough task easy. This project is made up of an instrumental interface on the computer, three buzzers to do harmony, and a harmony circle plate with music knowledge on it, such that processing exhibits a music keyboard on the screen, the player presses the computer key that’s the corresponding note name, keys on processing changes color as if pressed by the player, and arduino rotates the harmony circle to reveal the current harmony. Somebody else already established the theory of harmony circle while I’m making it accessible to music learners.
Proposal 3: Draw Flags of Three-Color Stripes
It’s intended for players and painting learners. I have a fancy for the three primary colors theory. It’s made up of three lights and buttons on arduino and a flag interface on processing. Player draws each stripe by adding or lessing color.
