For my final project, I would like to make a 3D animation using Cinema 4D. I have always been interested in making retro and sci-fi animation or concept art with 3D software, but just don’t have the intention to start from the beginning. I was always intimidated by learning new software and trying out these advanced modeling and animation techniques. Recently I found the right assets and tutorials to start and this would be the perfect opportunity to make my own.
The tutorials I found were on Skillshare. I think I would first try out the beginner level first (video around 7 hours), then start to set up my own scene.
The artist is using models he found online, so my original intention is to sculpt my own character in ZBrush. However, I am worried that given the limited time frame we had during finals, I wouldn’t be able to make a satisfactory model. I think I would first set up the scene with models downloaded online, and if I have enough time, I would make my character and substitute it in C4D.
