Keep Waiting

I sit on the bench, waiting for her to arrive. The bouquet wrapping is already soaked with sweat from my palms. Even though I haven’t seen her yet, my heart seems to be beating out of my chambers. My feet couldn’t stop shaking, afraid that the possibility of failure would make me lose control.

“Will she go back home tonight?” I constantly check my phone to see if she replies.

Suddenly I felt a light tap on my left shoulder.
