Description: I would like to make a piece of futuristic and sculptural furniture with an organically curved form.
Motivation: To experiment with challenging manufacturing methods of combing digital technology with woodworking skills. I am motivated to create a piece of functional artwork or sculptural furniture.
Technique & Steps:
- computer-generated design suing software like Rhino
- slice the design into layers and export them in illustrator
- cut the design CNC machine
- laminate and layer
- sanding and finishing
stock required: 20+ pieces of plywoods/ thin pieces of maple/oak
