Last week’s discussion session is really helpful for the development of our project. It updates us about other groups’ projects and their processes. Most importantly, it provides us valuable time for our own team to reflect on the progress we made. We are able to work more as a team after the previous dispute. Winny also promised to help with our final product, just as we are going to assist her with the decorations within the space.
The production process this week is pretty intense. We were able to construct the wooden framework easily. It took approximately 2 hours to build from scratch. I think the rest three frames would be made even more efficiently. Attaching and configuring the “waffle” patterned plastic strips is a pain in the butt. One problem that we encountered is that the plastic is a little too hard to bend. We have to nail them on the frame in order to stabilize them. The arrangement and density is another problem. We still haven’t decided on their density and pattern yet.
