Since I don’t have much time this weekend to work on my concepts, I made some iterations of my original porcelain concept. I experimented with different texture and prints, and here are two sets of drawings I would like to share. In terms of photorealism, I lowered the resolutions of the files to depict how the prints would actually look on the screen.
I was inspired by the design element of the building. The base or the podium is designed to mimic the flow and shape of the river valley. This reminds me of traditional Chinese ink wash paintings since they are excellent portrayals of organic landscapes. Then I created the prints on procreate. I think this could be an interesting texture to consider.
The second texture I experimented with was inspired by the ocean and the nebula. (Also drawn on Procreate)
