I designed 2 Voronoi patterns this week, with the second one using attracting points (connect the remapped numbers to factors in Scale). To create a Voronoi pattern, I need to use Populate Geometry on a surface and then connect the points using Voronoi. It is noteworthy that after adding attracting points, the pattern can be loose around the points and dense in other parts, thus creating more variables on a single pattern.
Luna and I also converted the GH pattern into Adobe Illustrator and laser cut it with acrylic to decorate our circuit container, which I think was a brilliant idea brought up by Luna! This way, we could better unify the style of the whole outfit by adopting the same pattern in different materials. In addition, I used TPU to 3d printed the pattern. Since the material was soft, I didn’t add pause and use fabric for this one.
