Biology Student Testimonial

Cemalovic, Ena“I like knowing how things function so before coming to NYU Shanghai I knew I wanted to study natural sciences, I just did not know what particular area I would be studying. I started off as a Neuroscience major, but quickly realized I did not like the brain as much as I thought I would, so I switched to Biology/Chemistry. I really enjoyed learning about molecular pathways that happen every second in our bodies. I soon became fascinated by the immune system and realized that I could actually dedicate my future to studying it and all the things that could possibly go wrong with it.” – Ena Cemalovic, Class of 2017, Fall 2016 Peer Advisor
