Summer 2019 – Quantum programming

The program aims to cover the following topics with hands on quantum programming on simulators and actual Q-hardware:
1. Overview of quantum mechanic algebra
2. Noisy Intermediate Scale Quantum systems (NISQ era)
3. Mathematical formulation of quantum mechanics for implementing quantum gates
4. Circuit model of quantum algorithm
5. Classical and quantum noise
6. Approximate computing with real noisy qubits
7. Experimental physical implementation
8. Hands-on experience with quantum programming (e.g. IBM)
