Kings’ Court, Directed by Rebekka Schlichting & co

Seniors at the University of Kansas William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications created this documentary about the nationally-ranked basketball team, the Kansas City Kings. Following practices, games, and team gatherings, Kings’ Court captures the ups and downs of basketball and heartfelt aspects of the community. In Spring 2022, the Kings traveled to Wichita, Kansas, to compete in the national tournament where the team discovered new meanings to Basketball Royalty.


Uncharted Waters, Directed by Anestes Iosifidis

“Uncharted Waters” is the true story of Chrysostomos, winner of the 48th swimming cross of Toroneos Gulf in Greece. Chrysostomos just a little time sooner of the race, faced severe mental health issues but managed to achieve something more than a victory in a 26km swimming race.

“Violet World” is a documentary series that takes a deep dive into what it’s like at the Division III level. With the addition of new head coach Dave Klatsky and two D1 transfers, the NYU Violets look to go all the way in the UAA Men’s Basketball Division.
