SensusAccess – Email Interface

 

SensusAccess features a comprehensive e-mail based interface with functionality identical to that of the web interface. The e-mail interface can be used for a variety of purposes, including:

  • To use SensusAccess from platforms that do not provide access to the file system, e.g., iOSbased devices such as iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.
  • As an efficient alternative to the web-based interface.
  • As an alternative for users who find the web-based interface complicated.
  • To integrate SensusAccess with other systems, such as digital libraries, learning management systems, multi-functional devices, etc.

Convert a file

Email SensusAccess a document with your NYU email, and get a more accessible format emailed back.  Note:

  • You can only send one file per email.
  • You will get a response from “RoboBraille”.

Common Formats

  • Target format = what you want to get back
  • [empty] = nothing in the subject line
