Submissions

Looking to be published? Global Affairs Review accepts article, book review, and op-ed submissions from students, faculty, and alumni of the Center for Global Affairs, as well as unaffiliated contributors.

To submit articles, book reviews, and op-eds, please read the criteria below and click on the submission link. Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis.

If selected for publication, submissions will be reviewed by the Global Affairs Review editorial team then returned to the author for final edits. The article will then be posted to GAReviewNYU.com and made public.

Submissions Criteria

Articles and Policy Papers should be between 1,500 and 4,000 words.

Articles submitted can include any citation style. If an article is selected for publication, the author will be asked to ensure that the citations follow MLA style and to include a list of works cited.

Book reviews should be between 700 and 1,200 words.

Opinion pieces should be between 500 and 1,000 words.

Global Affairs Review is highly selective in choosing op-eds for publication. Op-eds should be practical, well researched and clearly argued; they should offer realistic recommendations.

All submissions should be Word documents.

All submissions must be the author’s own work and must meet academic integrity standards.
