I’ve been gone for long
Because I’m heading towards what I need to be.
Occasionally I see her.
Times like these, I wish I could go back.
Yet all the torment, rejection, and suffering
Was worth the fight.
I’m not there yet, but I can feel it.
So close, so close.
I’m proud, so proud.
