The United Kingdom, Austria, and France align with Israel in the new definition of what is considered fpr a person to be fully vaccinated against the SARS-CoV2 virus. The World Health Organization’s Dr. Tedros calls this move as a scandal due to the major inequity in global vaccine distribution, where some countries have been unable to vaccinate their population with a single dose. The countries that have received less than 1% of the global vaccine stock are predominantly in the African continent, indicating that the countries income is responsible for the disparity in access to the vaccine.
