Dr. Felix Ansah is a multi-lingual Ghanaian medical doctor that graduated from Ukraine. After he enrolled in the United States Navy basic training he realized people’s health and illness extends beyond the confines of the hospital perimeter, and oftentimes some individuals never get the medical attention that they need from healthcare facilities.
Being in public health allowed him to shift his clinical perspective to focus on educating the world’s vulnerable populations on prevention. Since risks and accidents are an imminent part of our lives, he sees that education, preparation, and prevention are key approaches in public health to ensure no one gets left behind.
