On May 24, 2023, the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) and the United Nations in the UAE hosted a webinar to discuss coordination and collaboration between work in climate action and disaster risk reduction. With this webinar, UNDRR hoped to engage the public stakeholders in climate-related topics to prepare for the Climate Change Conference (COP28) set to take place at the end of 2023.

CDC Public Health Emergency Management Fellowship
The CDC offer a 3-month training opportunity for international government employees twice a year. Their requirements are that candidates:
- Hold a master or doctorate degree in public health or a related field.
- Hold public health emergency management positions or responsibilities that reflect a management level position.
- Hold a position that requires coordination with other emergency management.
- Currently or will have a position that can support their training.
- Work in a country that has signed the international health regulations.
