Introduction: Internationally, wildfires are increasing in frequency, duration, severity, and number of acres (hectares) burned. Unfortunately, climate change adds a layer of complexity as it creates environmental conditions conducive to wildfires. This disaster response plan serves to develop a process to build resiliency and provide the means to mitigate loss of life and livelihood for Indigenous peoples and communities within the context of wildfires.
