Project Title: Post-Brexit Britain: Unforeseen Consequences on the Food Industry and Future Public Health
A student worked with C3 Collaborating for Health to conduct extensive research and analysis to propose policies for the UK on the topic of ultra-processed food (UPFs).
Deliverables included:

- A literature review of food industry practices in Britain
- A policy brief recommending post-Brexit food industry practices
- Blog posts for communicating nutrition information to a wide audience
Project Title: The Four Pillars of Health
Students worked with the Uganda National Academy of Sciences on strategic health plans regarding antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and vaccines, accountability in global health partnerships, and root causes of low immunization rates in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Deliverables included:

Spring 2021
Project Title: Creating a Curriculum on the Link Between Health and Climate Change
A student worked with FXB to create an educational curriculum on the impact that climate change has on health, as well as conducting research tailored to the student’s cities of interest.

- A literature review on the impact of climate change on health in select cities
Project Title: Illinois Women’s Project
Students assisted the NYU Marron Institute of Urban Management’s Litmus Program with conducting background and policy research for a project in collaboration with the Women’s Justice Institute and Illinois Department of Corrections.

Project Title: Health in Metropolitan Cities: Legislation, Policy and Governance Approaches
Students worked with the Policy, Legislation and Governance Section at UN-Habitat to understand how metropolises are addressing broader global health issues in their urban policies and legislation.
