The Simons Center shall sponsor the spring quarterly meet-up of the New York Area Group for Informatics and Modeling (NYAGIM). The event will be held in the Silver Center for Arts & Science, Jurow Lecture Hall (enter at 32 Waverly Place).
The featured speaker Tom Kurtzman, professor of chemistry Lehman College, City University of New York and a member of the doctoral faculty in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biology at the CUNY Graduate Center:
Lecture is from 6 – 7 pm in Jurow Lecture Hall, followed by networking from 7 – 8pm.

NYAGIM is a community of greater New York City area scientists focused on the advances of in silico methods related to drug discovery, and how they increasingly impact and transform pharmaceutical research.
Their scientific interest covers a wide range of fields, including computational chemistry, medicinal chemistry, chemoinformatics, machine learning, molecular modeling, structural biology and protein design to cite a few.
