Mentorship Program
The SBLA Mentorship Program is a mentorship program catered towards all NYU undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career in law or applying to law school. If accepted, first-years and sophomores will be paired with a current SBLA executive board member and juniors and seniors will be paired with a law student from NYU Law, one of the top five law schools in the country.
You will be required to attend a mentor/mentee mingle in during the week of 9/30, after which you can reach out to your mentor for advice on undergraduate experiences, applying to law school, taking the LSAT, or other questions you might have for them. You will also have the opportunity to attend a preprofessional workshop that we will hold during the semester.
The Fall 2024 Mentorship form will open on September 15th. The deadline to apply for Mentorship is Friday, September 20th at 11:59pm. If we move forward with your application, interviews will be held from 9/21 – 9/27, and decisions will be released on 9/29.
