Student Association for the Master's in MCC (SAMM)
On Wednesday, August 30th, from 1–3pm, SAMM will be hosting the Fall ‘23 Welcome Picnic in Washington Square Park. The exact location will be announced day-of in the NYU MCC MA 23-24 WhatsApp group (let me know if you need help joining this chat!). We will have soft drinks and pizza for you—vegan and gluten-free options available! We welcome all MCC MA students to join us!
On Tuesday, August 29th, from 12–1pm, SAMM will be hosting a Welcome to NYU Walking Tour for incoming First Years. Join our lovely Secretary, Kelly Sand, as she shows you around some quintessential NYU spots! The tour will step off outside the East Building (239 Greene Street) at 12:00pm.
As of the 2023-2024 school year, we’ve rebranded the student the student association for the Master’s students in the Media, Culture and Communication department at NYU as SAMM. The association was previously known as the MA Student Association (MASA).
