Happy almost spring!!
 
SAMM is thrilled to bring you an MCC Careers Panel via Zoom on Tuesday, March 12th from 5:30–6:30pm! 
 
After surveying the current cohorts to ascertain which industries are most interesting to you, we’ve assembled a panel of recent MCC MA graduates who are excelling in those careers! Join us on March 12th to hear from:

Valentine’s/Lunar New Year Cookie Decorating with SAMM

Happy Spring Semester!! We hope yours is off to a great start. We at SAMM are thrilled to welcome you back with a lil’ Lunar New Year/Valentine‘s Day shindig on Tuesday, February 13th from 4:30–6:30 PM on the East Building’s 8th Floor. We’ll be decorating cookies and enjoying Lunar New Year candies! We’d love to see you there!

Seasonal Self-care with SAMM

We’d like to cordially invite you to join SAMM for some Seasonal Self–care next Tuesday, Dec 12th, from 5–8pm on the East Building’s 8th floor. We’ll be taking a breather from final papers to paint our nails, do some face masks, and help you de-stress with some delicious desserts. PhD Info Session Panel

We are thrilled to announce that next week, Thursday, Nov 9 at 4:00pm on the 8th Floor of the East Building, SAMM will be hosting a PhD Info Session for all students interested in applying to PhD programs! On our panel we are lucky to have the expertise of Dr. Deborah J. Borisoff, Dr. j. Siguru Wahutu, Courtney Hytower (MCC MA Alumna, Current PhD candidate at NYU), and Neda Jahanbani (MCC MA Alumna, Current PhD candidate at Columbia University). Come hear their advice about finding a program that’s the right fit for you, writing your application, reaching out to potential advisors, etc.

SAMM’s Fall Friendship Bracelet Social

 
Come to our fall social to celebrate seasonally with friends old and new on Thursday, Oct 12th at 5pm on the 8th Floor of NYU’s East Building! We’ll be making friendship bracelets and partaking in fall-themed treats (read: apple cider donuts!!).
