I am an assistant professor of environmental engineering at New York University Tandon School School of Engineering in the Department of Civil and Urban Engineering. Before joining NYU, I was a postdoctoral scholar at the Carnegie Institution for Science Department of Global Ecology. I received my B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and my S.M. (Applied Mathematics) and Ph.D. (Environmental Science and Engineering) from Harvard University in the Biogeochemistry of Global Contaminants Lab.
In addition to my scientific research, I play tennis and the piano. Some of my guilty pleasures include thrift shopping, reality tv, and ice cream. I live with my partner, Steven, and our two cats, Earl Grey and Chai.
