Ryan Saxe


Ryan is a Technical Research Assistant at RiskEcon® Lab, working on applications of advanced computational methods (e.g. machine learning) to data sets which are relevant to certain research streams of the RiskEcon Lab team and various affiliated faculty.

Ryan graduated from NYU in May 2017 with a Bachelors degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science at Courant Institute, with a Data Science track.

His academic interests are directed towards exploring solutions to complex problems using advanced data-driven computational methods. His previous activities have included data mining for clustering and classification of purchasing patterns in fashion industry data, hierarchical modeling for causal and syndromic identification of post-traumatic stress in medical research data, as well as exploratory data analysis of social networks.
