Social inequality persists in a striking number of domains (e.g., race, social-class, sexuality, gender identity, disability). Given these inequalities, how do people contend with this information, especially given the multiple social identities people possess? Riana’s research explores how people respond to evidence of inequality, both understanding the ways people seek to address it and ways people defend it.
