The objective of this one-day event is to bring together academics and practitioners working on emerging areas of financial technology. The talks will focus on topics related to liquidity management in the mutual fund industry, climate risk, digital and cryptocurrencies, clearing payment systems, and machine learning methods in finance. Speakers and participants will engage in interactive discussions, and review critically the state-of-the art in these cutting edge developments that are transforming the financial industry. New research ideas and potential for collaboration is expected to emerge from this gathering.
