Process and Reflections:

For my previous audio story, I typed out my script which doubles as the story. I made a first, second, and third part. I made sure the story was two sided. It technically has multiple characters, but in the audio story, even though it was only Rory’s point-of-view, it’s a Rory and Dina conflict.
I wanted the story to have the trivialness of a middle school drama and of a coming-of-age story. I framed the conflict in a way a middle school love story would go, but it’s quite subtle I think.
For the book, I modified several parts to fit Dina’s story more smoothly. I also added more exposition since I will do more than 3 parts in the book (more than 3 diary entries).
I used post-it notes to organize the pages while coming up with Dina’s story. Like a rough draft.
Then, I painted everything.
I am very satisfied with the result! Although, I honestly intended this to be a middle school love story, but I don’t know if that shined through. Perhaps it’s not my fault. Regardless, I find so much joy in storytelling through objects. I’ve done projects similar to this in freshman year, and perhaps I’d like to do more in the future!
