May 15 – Women of Color in Leadership

The NYU Leadership Initiative invites you to hear from expert leaders in media and the arts as they share their insights on career paths, representation in filmmaking, and the role of arts in inspiring change.

In this honest discussion, panelists will speak from their extensive experience on mentorship, empowerment, and the confidence required to bring your most authentic self to each task and setting, even when that might make it difficult to fit in. They will also be sharing their ‘head slapping’ leadership failures and what they learned from these moments, as well as offering advice on the particular challenges that face women of colornavigating today’s complex landscape.

  • Zenitra Barrett, Director of POS Strategy and Education at HBO
  • Josephine E. Pamphile, President & CEO at T. Howard Foundation
