Child Care
For those staying at the Masseria, the owner will facilitate the connection between local baby-sitters and the participants. The baby sitters will come to the Masseria to take care of the children. Therefore, the Masseria is probably the most convenient accommodation for those who need child care.
For the worriers among us (I am one of them), there is a hospital in town.
Children Activities
The Masseria has a wonderful swimming pool which will be made available to us, even those of us who do not reside there. Beside the convent is a park (“villa comunale”) where children could roam under supervision. There is also a “nature adventure park” just outside the town, offering a variety of children activities including tree zip-lines and horseback riding in the Parco delle Madonie.
