The Pakistan Academics’ Collective is a diverse group of scholars from around the world. Our members are affiliated with various institutions like Oxford University, Harvard University, London School of Economics, University of Toronto, University of Michigan, City University of New York, University of Pennsylvania, University of Southern California Berkeley, University of Cambridge, New York University, Leeds University, University of Massachusetts Amherst, New School for Social Research, Boston College, NUST, Lahore University of Management Sciences, Institute of Business Administration, Karachi , McGills University, Northwestern University and many others. We hope to facilitate meaningful intellectual engagement with the Pakistani academic community in Pakistan and the diaspora. While many of our members have been engaging extensively with the issues of women and child rights, political violence, military intervention, enforced disappearances etc. in the past, we hope to address many of these issues at this present critical juncture in Pakistan’s history when democratic principles and human rights are ruthlessly being curtailed. The Pakistan Forum at NYU is proud to host the collective at this time.
