For this exercise, I tried to print out half of the spinal cord for our final project. I used the paneling tools to achieve the goal.

After creating this very uniform pattern, I want to replicate the change of size and shape of a usual real spine, so I added the attractors.

This question is caused by the surface that I chosed incorrectly, so I added a horizontal surface as the base.

 

Printing

Before printing, I got these two warnings, but they didn’t affect the actual printing process.

This is the result. The support is really hard to remove😭

 

After being really rude to my model, it becomes more like a spine.
