Have you ever imagined that you are a great pianist or drums player? We all know that learning a musical instrument needs to take a long time so that you can play a great melody. However, there are also a lot of people who want to play music but have no time to learn. Aiming at this situation, I think we can build a mini band where users can create their own music with two instruments just by using their hands.

Depending on this , my partner and I plan to make equipment that can let the left hand play the drum set and the right hand to play the piano. What’s more, while playing the music, the computer will display unique figures for each button, which means users can also get their own music video. First we will draw a sketch of our design and consider how to combine the Arduino and the Processing in a good way. After that we will take a preliminary attempt to one part of the circuits in order to see if our thoughts are workable. After that (if everything goes well) we will build whole circuits. Also, I want to attempt the technology of laser cutting to make boxes that cover hands with some figures.
D.
I think my research helps me a lot. In this part, I was inspired to combine two different senses. And this project allows users to make their music in a much easier way by using their hands and will create music videos, which is the most interactive point I think. When users press buttons, their music and figures are created and recorded by the equipment, just like they are communicating with the machine. And this accord with my definition of the interaction.
