Project Title: Step into the daylight

Concept | Storyline:
1). What is the piece (article, poem, story) for the narrative voice over? Or who are you going to interview?
We want to use Taylor Swift’s song Daylight, there are some narrative voice over. Also, we will record our own voice sound.

2). What’s the story about?
We wanted to document the story of a depressed girl. There are many depressed people who are subjected to external cynicism and fall into self-doubt. They can feel sad and lonely. So we wanted to express that we can give them a helping hand and encourage them to step into the sunlight.
3). Which part of the story are you going to focus on?
We want to use metaphor to express the loneliness and sadness of a person, and her transformation process.
4). What kind of style/aesthetics are you going to pursue?
We want to use color contrast, the first half we want to use dark colors, cool tones and the second half will use bright colors and warm tones for contrast.
Execution Plan:
1). What equipment are you going to use when shooting the movie? (cell phone, DSLR camera, sound recorder, stabilizer..)

2). Which locations will it be shot at? When is it? Day time/night/unknown? Why?
Daytime(We want to shoot the sunshine as the symbol of recovering from the disorder) Maybe in the park, the girl can run in the sunshine. Night(Dark colors will be easier to symbol loneliness and sadness) She can be oneself sitting in the corner of a room.
3). What challenges might you encounter and how will you prepare?
We often use rainy days and dark clouds to express people’s bad moods, but these metaphors are a bit too old-fashioned and cliche, so it is a challenge to express people’s bad moods in a fresh way.
