Idea 1:
Title: Rhythm Master with Body Movements
Based on my previous research on dancing machines, I want to make a more interactive and fun game. (Reference: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhythm_game) This is a single-player game with human-machine interaction, I need to use different sensors and processing. In my vision, with the music I initially set, processing would recognize its pitch and volume and draw different patterns randomly according to the rhythm. People playing the game need to make different actions according to different patterns, such as upward arrows representing raising hands and so on. This time I need to use a photoresistor type of sensor so that the machine feels the movement of people. If the action is correct, it will score points. To enhance people’s experience, if they keep doing the wrong action, the processing will temporarily slow down the pace of the pattern. To make the whole project more beautiful, I also want to add light bands, just like in recitation7, which will change color with the rhythm. In addition to hands-making movements, I also wanted to allow people to add interactivity to the music played by the computer. For example, when the volume is very high, the processing will appear in a circle when people need to clap their hands, then I need the sound sensor to record. I hope that people who play this game can feel the charm of music.
Idea 2:
Title: The drawing for “blind people”.
Normal people can draw by using colors, shapes, and lines, which is very difficult for blind people. But with the help of normal people, I hope that blind people can also draw through interactive games. So I want to design a project to let normal people feel the world of blind people, and I also want to make people pay more attention to people with disabilities through this project. This is a two-person project, where one person needs to wear an eye mask to feel the world of the blind, and the other person will help him. Before the painting begins, the player wearing the eye mask can tell another person about his or her creativity. The person wearing the eye mask will wear a part of the sensor, when the body makes certain movements, processing will draw the corresponding pattern. Also, by using different sensors, they can change the color of the drawing. A normal person will help the “blind person” draw together, for example by telling him where to draw circles, the lines, and where to make different movements to change colors. When the movement is correct, music will be played to tell him that he did it right. This work was created by two people, in line with both human-computer interaction and human interaction, and is a continuous process.
Idea 3:
Feel free to wear what you like
In modern society, many women are not given the freedom to dress, and they get criticized because of the way they dress. Therefore I want to design a meaningful interactive game. People can change the color of their clothes through photoresistors, or temperature sensors, such as the higher the brightness, the redder the color, etc. I will set some patterns in advance, such as hair, accessories, and clothes. The style of clothes will be dropped randomly during the processing. People can catch the different clothes by using their body language, and when the clothes are successfully caught, a sound will be made.
