Serial Communication
Task #1
My process throughout the coding went really well. I first set of the breadboard and arduino, which went smoothly due to the experience gained since the beginning of the semester. I had a few problems with the code in terms of receiving information from arduino to processing, but with the help of a LA, I was able to fix the problem. I was really fun seeing the steps taken to make the code like an etch-a-sketch, and I was able to learn more about coding. Below are the videos that demonstrate each stage of the code I had before modifying it to the final etch-a-sketch.
Task #2
For Task #2, my partner was Isa. We began working on the code later in the recitation period. Overall, we had no problem in having the etch-a-sketch to work. However, we were not able to modify the coding and add serial motors. Due to the time constraint in class and during the week, we were not able to meet up and complete Task #2 successfully. Unfortunately, we did not complete the code.
