Paragraph describe my idea for the Winter Market

In the Winter Market, people could edit their dreams, publish and sell. But it comes at the cost of relying on technology and drugs. It’s not worth it. So I come up with an idea for an interactive artifact that is called dream reader. It can read your dream and export it from your brain. When you wake up you can review it and edit it to whatever you like. And the editing process just looks like Pr. You can also put some new plot into it. For instance, you don’t like the gray and blur so you can change them. And if you don’t like some stupid ends(as we know some dreams are stupid although you may get some inspiration if think it from another aspect), you can record new ends following your idea in reality and cut out the original ends. The similar existing technology to my design is brain wave reader. It can read people’s brain waves but can’t show what you are thinking. The dream reader can show the scenes of people’s dream so it can go beyond the brain wave reader.

Paragraph describe my idea for the Fish in Lijiang.

In this fiction,  the woman works for a place called “Time care Unit”. Patients receive treatment there. The patients never move. Each of their breaths takes hours. Once in a while, one of them moans like a baby, and someone makes a record of it. Looking at all the biological signs, they should all be considered dead. The numbers shown on their machines never change. But they remain in that place for years, decades. They are receiving “time sense dilation therapy”. By controlling the biological clock of an organism, it was possible to reduce the production of free radicals and slow down aging. So I want to create an interactive artifact called Time sense dilation machine to treat people. The aging of the mind was intimately connected with the sense of the passage of time.  The interaction shows in this way:  this machine will feel different bodies’s receptors in the pineal gland as written in the fiction. And as response,it slows down their senses of time, to dilate them.  And it will adjust the time of dialation according to different receptors. The body of a person receiving time sense dilation therapy remains in the normal stream of time, but his mind experiences time a hundred, a thousand times slower than the rest of us. But the potential problems are, first, the decay of the mind and its eventual death could not be reversed or halted. You only achieve flesh existence, but you don’t experience the joy of being alive. What’s more important, this would against the laws of nature, against birth, aging, illness and death. It can be used by the lawless people, even change the labor laws to institutionalize the idea of “rehabilitation” so as to hide the truth like mentioned in the fiction.

Paragraph describe my idea for Newton’s Sleep.

In this fiction, people migrate to other planets. The earth is not suitable for inhabitancy as a result of terrible environment. And at the end of the fiction, people began to see illusions of creatures and objects from the earth. And these illusions are becoming even more real as time goes by. It seems like something supernatural. Like this paragraph in this fiction: “As he entered the streetlike corridor he had a curious sensation of pushing into and through a substance, or substances or presences, crowded thickly, not impeding him, not palpable, only many non-touches like very slight electric shocks on his arms and shoulders, breaths across his face, an intangible resistance. He walked ahead, came to the elevators, dropped down to the Bays. The elevator was full but he was the only person in it”(19). However, people still cannot interact with these illusions.   So the interactive artifact  that I design is a pair of AR glasses.  When you wear the glassed, it can show the creatures and objects. For example, like the character in this fiction, you are imagining that you are coming to an elevator when wearing the AR glasses. The AR glasses will know what objects you are imagining by having an insight into your mind waves. And then the AR glasses will show a “real” elevator and you are coming to the elevator as you imagine. It will give feedback on your action. Like you press the button of F8, and the virtual elevator will take you to F8 like in the real life. And it will take you to wherever you want to get to. As long as you pretend you don’t know you wear this AR glasses, you will feel like the images and objects that it shows to you is like real things. AR projets already  exist. But I add something new about reading the imagines in your mind and reflect by virtual images.  The problem is the virtual images are too real that sometimes you may forget those images are virtual. But at least this circumstance won’t cause a real danger.
