Rams and his concept of the least amount of design can apply to screen less design in modern technologies. I agree with the designers and speakers as products are more functional without a screen. A screenless design I use often is Siri. It’s integrated into a design that has a screen (iPad, iPhone, etc.), but users, like myself use it remotely and can control it with voice functions. A few of Rams’ principles this fits is that it is functional, simple and clear to use, and have long lasting utility. Siri is able to perform many tasks and with efficiency; it is incorporated well into smartphones. Additionally, by being voice-based it’s very easy to operate and is compatible with many new Apple products
