Project Statement of Purpose
After I did the research, I realized that a higher degree of interactivity could be based on users’ common sense. Users could further interact with devices according to their own life experiences.
This project is mainly made for young girls who want to learn how to do make-up.
After interacting with this project, users could learn the basic process of doing makeup, and see how the makeup looks on their faces.

Context and Significance
In my previous research, I mentioned that I wanted to make something users could interact with, and their actions should be more based on their life experiences. And in my project, users could interact with the device through their basic understanding of those makeup tools.
In China, girls are not allowed to do makeup at school. But after the college entrance examination, many girls would want to learn how to do makeup. However, there is a problem that there is too much information offered online, which may be too complicated for a beginner. So I believe with this physical interaction, girls could easily learn the basic process of doing makeup.
And in the future, I believe this project could be used for cosmetic companies to test their products. People could change the female’s appearance on the screen, and producers could see how their makeup looks on a person’s face.
