Shaving is a task that we all like to keep as simple as possible. As a student with sensitive skin, it took me some time to find a razor and shaving cream adequate for myself. Though I now generally am able to give myself a clean shave, I still find the process to be a tedious one that could be simplified. Often when I shave, the drain gets partially clogged, and the sink is left with little hairs throughout. I propose a product to clean a razor through the shaving process that allows users to dispose of the hair in the garbage rather than the sink. This product would instantly clean the razor head without the use of the sink.
Growing up in an American household, I have aways loved eating peanut butter. Anyone that has scooped out of a peanut butter jar, however, knows how difficult it is to use the entire jar, especially without getting your hand dirty. I propose a product utilizing a technology similar to that used in many deodorant brands: a peanut butter jar whose base would be able to be elevated as the jar is used.
As a student I try to maintain a lifestyle as balanced as possible. I like to think that I have a nice study, sleep, exercise cycle as best as possible. For me, getting daily exercise is especially important. With a varied daily schedule as a college student, I often varying time windows to go to the gym; sometimes I go before classes, sometimes in between, and sometimes after. I often find myself lugging around gym clothes throughout the day. When I try to condense everything into my school backpack, I end up with my entire bag smelling of BO. When I go to the gym in the morning for example and store my day clothes in my backpack they almost always come out wrinkled. To solve my changing of clothes issues, I propose an air-tight, folding friendly pocket designed for backpacks.
