Concept for the Diptych

My overall concept for the Dipytch is to show the city life from both macro and micro perspective. I want to take a photo in one of the busiest corner of Shanghai, and take photos of some household items to imitate the scene of a busy city.

The real photo of city is the original information, while the collage is the reproduction of reality, which shows the significance of people living in this busy, machine-like modern metropolis.

For this dipytch, I plan to take photos of something like food, toys, clothes and furniture which are ubiquitous in our daily life, which demonstrates the micro perspective of a city. I want to take a photo in Lujiazui, the CBD of Shanghai, with a low shutter speed, to demonstrate how busy, modern and crowded this city is.

I’d like to use Photoshop to combine the objects I take photos of together,and recolor them to make it more artistic and attractive.
