Loneliness Killa-Ragnor Wu-Rodolfo Cossovich
This is a communication auxiliary artifact, which works privately between two people, connecting people on both sides in a humane, warm way, through heartbeat visualization, neon light patterns and also music player. It focuses on the social problems in modern society, that the vast development has caused modern people to have relied too much on social media and text messages, leading to the phenomenon that a lot of modern people still feel lonely even though their life is full of so-called “social activities”–people rarely use their heat to feel each other anymore. Therefore, we invent this device, for whichever two people that want to be closely connected with each other: friends, lovers, families…, when they put their hands on the heart rate sensor, the other person would see their heartbeats when the light glows and hear the rhythm of it; when they push different buttons, the other person would receive different patterns on the neo pixel which stand for different emotions and expressions.
