III.  Concept | Storyline: 

时间背景设定：大年三十，公司有双倍加班费

TIme and Background Setting: On New Year’s Eve of the lunar calendar. Double paid.

 

角色 Characters: 

1）阴间使者（Ferry Man): Mark

2）老王(Wang): Kevin or Pika 

3）老王他妈( Mother of  Mr. Wang):  保洁阿姨

     

人物设定 Setting: 

1）阴间使者（Ferry Man): （男 Man）

工作：摆渡亡者灵魂，指引灵魂进入阴间。会在亡者死前提前2个小时收到亡者的死亡信息。死亡信息包含：人名，出生时间，死亡时间，生平，死因   在死者死后，会询问：“xxx，是本人吗”

服装：全身黑色大衣，黑色西帽遮住眼睛。

Job:  He is responsible for ferrying the soul of the dead and guiding the soul to the underworld. He will receive the death information 2 hours before the man dies. The death information contains the name of the dead man, birth time,  death time, life story, the cause of death. He will ask the man after he died: “xxx, is that you?”

Costume:  He wears a black coat and a black western hat covering his eyes.

2）老王（Wang): (男  Man）

工作：在陆家嘴当房地产销售。入行8年，是家庭唯一的支柱。非常努力  但业绩平平，在大年三十想拿到双倍工资所以留在公司工作。

死亡原因：心源性猝死

服装：西装外套，脖子上带着姓名牌。

 Job: He’s a real estate salesperson in Lujiazui. Having been in the industry for 8 years, he is the only source of family finance. He’s very hard work but mediocre performance. He wanted to get double paid on New Year’s Eve, so he stayed in the company.

 The cause of the death：Sudden cardiac death

 Costume: He wears a suit with a name card on his neck.

3）老王他妈（Mother of Wang)：（女 Woman）（出现在最后一幕 Appeared in the last scene）

 

Main Storyline: 

大年三十，老王留在公司加班。在埋头工作被客户拒绝后母亲打电话让他回家吃饭，先压抑再情绪爆发。 继续工作。（在春晚倒计时的时候）倒在了工位上。

On New Year’s Eve, Lao wang stays in the company and worked overtime. After burying himself in work and being rejected by the client, his mother call him and wishes him to go home for dinner. At first, he suppresses his negative mood, but finally, emotionally explodes. Then, he continued to work. (During the countdown to the Spring Festival Gala) he fell on the desk.

IV. Storyboard: (想到的场景 imagined scenes）

1. 开始场景：在路边摊，一边打电话（老王，客户一会儿来回复，吃了快点回来。三个月了还没拿下来，怎么搞得。嘟嘟嘟，挂了电话）一边加快了吃面。阴间使者拿着手上的死者信息，坐在旁边的位置上。
2. 工作场景：Messy，非常多文件，夹杂着一个体检报告单。不停地修改工作报表。电脑是亮的，周围是黑的。最后一个工友站起来说，老王，要跨年了，我先走了，你也快点回家吧。
3. 妈妈打电话场景：客户终于来了邮件，却拒绝了他的提案。拍老王的表情（忍住哭泣）这时母亲来了电话，催促老王回家过年吃饭。老王情绪崩溃，大发脾气，挂了电话。
4. 死亡场景：老王觉得有点累，揉了揉心口，撑着桌子慢慢闭眼（黑屏）。再睁开眼睛时，已经在灵魂的视角看着尸体。（尸体：趴在桌子上，药瓶倒了）
5. 最后一个场景：老王死后灵魂看着尸体。阴间使者在旁边问：“王永进，是本人吗？” ，灵魂的视线从尸体看向阴间使者，在延伸到阴间使者之后的窗户，窗户延伸到（想象）之后的家里，母亲做了一桌菜在等他回家。

        

1. Beginning scene: At a roadside stall, while calling (Wang, the customer will reply in a while, and come back soon after eating. How can it be done after three months. Dududu, hung up the phone )Wang speeds up eating noodles. The ferryman holds the death information in his hand and sits next to Lang wang.
2. Work scene: Messy, a lot of files, mixed with a medical report. Wang constantly modifies the work report. The computer is bright, but the surroundings are dark. The worker who is the only staff in the company except Wang stood up and said, “Wang, New Year’s Eve is coming, I’m leaving first. You’d better go home, it’s too late now.”
3. The scene that Mum was calling: Lao wang finally receives an email from the client, but is a rejected mail. (Close Shot)Lao Wang’s expression (holding back crying). At this time, his mother calls and wishes Wang to go home for Chinese New Year dinner. Wang broke down, loses his temper, and hangs up the phone.
4. Death scene: Wang feels a little tired, rubs his heart, and slowly closes his eyes while supporting the table (black screen). When he opens his eyes again, he is already looking at the dead body from the perspective of the soul. (Corpse: lying on the table, the medicine bottle is down)
5. The last scene: The soul of Wang looks at his dead body. The ferryman asks: “Wang Yongjin, is that you?” The soul looks at the ferryman. After extending to the window behind the ferryman, (the window extended to the house)he imagines the mother makes a table of dishes, waiting for him to go home.

V. 旁白 Narrative：

从头贯穿到尾：阴间使者念老王的死者信息

穿插：别人和老王的对话

From the beginning to the end: the ferryman  read Wang’s death information

Interspersed: Conversations between Others and WangW
