For week 5 of toy design and prototyping, the focus was on creating a soft circuit by using entirely soft objects with electrical components. I used electrical thread to connect the circuit from the battery to the led where a push design was created where pushing a cloth against another cloth with electrical wires would finish the connection and make the electricity flow to light the LED. There was difficulty with the sewing of the stitches as the string was hard to tie as well as difficulty with making knots. This is due to the hardness of the electrical strings. While difficult, it was still able to be accomplished with the assistance of Professor Godoy who provided guidance on how the circuit should be created for it to function properly. Below a photo and video will be provided.
