Greetings, this time, I am back with the imaginary creature project. Where I would be creating my creature based on my creativity and my imagination as it’s named as a topic for this article/post. I made a drone killer, which I would instead call an “angel drone killer” I was inspired and motivated by a Japanese anime to create this creature. I’ve seen much weird technology in many anime, so I decided to make one and imagine as one of these drones was in a war scene in an anime. The yellow ring on top of a flying drone could show its angel-alike in our expectation.
On this project, I honestly had learned many interesting features and great functions which could be very useful in the future for my other project. First, I learned how to insert an image into the p5. I was struggling for a moment tried to insert it down. Secondly, I learned to create many different functions to create my creature with many functions before putting it together into one function. Then I started some interactions, such as a moving function based on mouseX and mouseY. Then I also created three drones using the same function but put just a different name and put it in a specific position on the project. In this way, I saved a lot of my time for creating the same thing alike, more than once, by using the same and only code/function/variable. Lastly, I need to thank my professor, Stavros, and the anime for providing great inspiration for me. Also, I used the same website for my color references and codes (color-hex).
