Project B Proposal: Catch the Note!
Working tittle: Catch the Note!
Visual prototype
Description
This is a game combined music and apple catcher game. In the first HTML page, users can see a short introduction and a few decorative pictures. There will be a link to next HTLM page where the game is. In the game, the top is a piano keyboard. Users can use the computer keyboard to interact with the piano keyboard or just click the mouse. When you click the key, a note that falls vertically will appear at the same time as the corresponding sound of the key. A colored light effect also appears below the pressed keys. At the bottom, there’s a basket moving back and forth from side to side at a random but slightly predictable pace. When the note is successfully dropped into the basket, there is either a visual feedback or a sound feedback. I plan to add a scoring system if I have time. A note successfully dropped into the basket adds one point. I’m also thinking about another mode of play. Instead of moving randomly, the baskets appear in different locations. Users can follow the basket’s position to play a simple tune. So if possible, I would make two HTML pages for “Random Mode” and “Playing Mode”.
